Recently, we've gotten a lot of questions asking what the NOVL Book Squad is all about. We don't want to keep you in the dark, so here are some frequently asked questions answered!

Q: What is the NOVL Book Squad?

A: Great question! The NOVL Book Squad is just our name for our early review program. Every month, we choose an upcoming release for 30 NOVLers to review. However, the link to enter for a chance to review is only through the newsletter, so make sure to sign up if you haven't already!

Q: Are we required to review the books in order to be in the book squad?

A: While we can't force anyone to read the book and send in a review, this is an early review program and not just a giveaway, so we expect everyone who got a book to review it within 4-6 weeks upon receiving the book.

Q: Is there a follower/subscriber requirement? how do we get chosen?

A: Nope. We don't believe that the amount of followers and/or subscribers matter when it comes to being a book lover. We do check all the links that you send us through the form, whether it be your blog, Goodreads, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc, but just to make sure you're a true fan and not just in it to get a free book. We read and appreciate every single review that you send in—positive or negative. We also take note when you post a review of our book even if we didn't send it to you.

Q: If we miss the 4-6 week window to send in a review, are we out?

A: No! We're all busy people and our #TBR is forever and ever looming over us. However, we do have a disclaimer at the top of our Book Squad form that say you agree to provide a review within 4-6 weeks upon receiving the book, so see where that fits into your schedule.

Q: What do you do with our reviews after you receive them?

A: First, we read them. Then, we pull quotes from the reviews that we particularly liked, make graphics from them, and put them on the respective book pages (example). Sometimes, they're even shared with the author!

We hope we answered your questions, but if you still have more, comment below with your question and we'll do our best to get back to them!
