6 Things to Do at SDCC This Year
Hello NOVL Nation!! Are you ready for San Diego Comic-Con?? We definitely are–we’ve coordinated our t-shirts and everything. If you’re going to be there, make sure to come visit us in Booth #1116. Here are 6 things we have going on for you to do at Comic-Con!
All of the swag
We’ll be doing giveaways every day on the half hour. There will be tote bags. There will be buttons. There will be stickers, and band-aids, and pins, and bookmarks, and pencils, and mirrors, and… you get the point.
The ARC drops
In addition to all of the swag mentioned above, there will be ARCs – also good old-fashioned regular books too. You could get a sneak peek at some our favorite titles coming out this Fall and beyond!
The Raffles
Thursday through Saturday we will be hosting a different raffle each day. Thursday will be Dear Evan Hansen-themed. Friday will feature FORTNITE swag. Saturday will have Holly Black goodies galore. Sunday will be jam-packed with fantastic graphic novels. You can enter every day, so make sure to keep coming back to our booth.
Katrina Leno panel
You Must Not Miss author Katrina Leno will be appearing on the “Stories That Put Your Heart in Your Throat” panel. Head to the Horton Grand Theatre Thursday 7/18 at 12:00pm to get spooked!
Cecil Castellucci signing
Cecil Castellucci will be signing ARCs of her graphic novel The PLAIN Janes in our booth. Come by Friday between 12:45pm and 1:45pm to get a signed copy of this cult classic!
The Queen of Nothing scavenger hunt
Last but not least, the faerie court has been up to their tricks again. There will be scarves (in unspecified quantities) around the convention floor on each day of Comic-Con. Find one of them, return it to us at Booth #1116, and you will win an exclusive Queen of Nothing prize (no, it’s not an ARC).
Keep an eye on our Twitter for more detailed updates of when everything is going down. It’s going to be a busy convention, so make sure to pace yourself and stay hydrated. Swing by Booth #1116 anytime to see what we have going on. See you at the Con!
