If you’re a regular watcher of NOVLtea, you’ll know Beyond the Ruby Veil blew my mind. The plot is absolutely nuts, in the best way possible. By chapter three, our fearless antihero Emanuela has done the thing. The thing I thought it would take the whole book to do. And from there things get WILD. And it just. keeps. going. The insane plot twists kept me hooked, and Emanuela is a fascinating if not so nice main character that I love to hate to love. If you like chaotic antiheros with hearts of gold encrusted iron, look no further! Blood-soaked and gothic, this book kept me on the edge of my seat.
