Characters We Want to Go Stargazing WIth
Have you ever gone stargazing? I know it’s hard to do anything because we are all still practicing social distancing, but there are ways watch the stars and stay safe. Star watching sounds like a fun idea (except I can’t get past the idea of laying in the grass. I am not a fan of that.) If you could lay outside and gaze at the stars, who would take with you? We put together a whole list of characters we’d love to go stargazing with.
Devon from When the Stars Lead to You
by Ronni Davis
If you go star watching, you want to have someone with you who loves it as much as you do, or even more, and that person is Devon. She longs for two things:
The stars.
And the boy she fell in love with last summer.
After the most romantic and magical summer ever Ashton breaks Devon’s heart and she thinks her heart will never heal again. But over the course of following year, Devon finds herself slowly putting the broken pieces back together. She's determined to enjoy every moment of senior year, as she prepares for a future studying galaxies. That is, until Ashton shows up on the first day of school. Can she forgive and open her heart to him again? Or are they doomed to repeat history?
Zach full name [redacted] from the Gallagher Girls series
by Ally Carter
As a student at the Blackthorne Institute (spy school) Zach is the perfect guy to watch the stars with. Why? Because he’s a spy and really what more do you need? I promise it made sense in my head. I mean come on, as a spy Zach would have everything planned and ready to go. He would have the best spot picked out and know the names of the stars and constellations.
Tarver Merendsen from These Broken Stars
by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner
Tarver is a fighter. He is someone who spends time being alert. It would be nice to spend time with him when he could just relax. Plus it would be great to watch the stars with someone who has lived among them.
The Icarus, a massive luxury spaceliner is yanked out of hyperspace and plummets into the nearest planet. Lilac LaRoux and Tarver Merendsen survive. And they seem to be alone. Lilac is the daughter of the richest man in the universe. Tarver comes from nothing: a young war hero who learned long ago that girls like Lilac are more trouble than they’re worth. But with only each other to rely on, Lilac and Tarver must work together, making a tortuous journey across the eerie, deserted terrain to seek help. When they uncover the truth behind the chilling whispers that haunt their every step, they may find a way off the planet. But they won’t be the same people who landed on it.
Yvonne from Finding Yvonne
by Brandy Colbert
Yvonne has known what she wanted to do and who she was for a long time but when something unexcepted happens she starts to question all of that. All of that stress can’t be good for anyone. When someone dreams for the stars it’s nice to stop and actually take a look at them every once in a while.

With her father too busy and too emotional closed off to really help her through this problem Yvonne knows he definitely won’t be able to help her when she unexpectedly becomes pregnant. With her future up in the air Yvonne will have to make the most difficult decision yet.
Danyal Jilani from More Than Just A Pretty Face
by Syed M. Masood
Danyal is a great person to stargaze with because he is the kind of person that notices if there aren’t as many stars out one a particular night. Plus, food is an art to him; he loves to cook, and I love to eat. Stars and snacks, it’s a win-win.
Even though no one takes Danyal seriously, he doesn’t lack confidence. He isn’t the smartest, but he's funny, gorgeous, and going to make a great chef one day. He is bummed that his longtime crush, Kaval, and her family, don’t think he’s an ideal arranged-marriage prospect. When Danyal gets selected for a school-wide academic championship, he plans to show everyone he’s smarter than they think. As Danyal gets help from Bisma, who is brilliant and uninterested-in-him. The more time they spend together...the more he learns from her...the more he cooks for her...the more he realizes that happiness may be staring him right in his pretty face.
Nightwing from the Titans comic series
written by Dan Abnett; penciled by Brett Booth and inked by Norm Rapmoud
I absolutely love Grayson. He’s not my Robin, but as Nightwing he is the best. I had to add him to the list. I mean who wouldn’t want to sit down with the guy who was Robin then left Batman fricking BATMAN and became Nightwing? He went from being Batman’s sidekick to his partner, talk about growth. I have questions, so many – and relaxing while watching the stars would be the perfect time to ask them.
This new band of Titans are on a quest to find out the truth behind the earth-shattering, universe-changing revelations that Wally ushered in in his return to the world he thought he'd lost. Wally, Donna, Arsenal, Garth, Lilith and Nightwing are on the hunt for the mysterious force that erased their memories, forcing them to forget what they could accomplish together.
